Every year we reflect on the principals we have learned and review on what we can improve on. We constantly refer back to one of our favorite pieces of art, John Cage's 10 Rules for students and teachers. Cage, who passed away in 1992, was an artist, philosopher, and composer of avant garde music lauded as one of the most influential composers of the 20th century. '10 Rules for Students and Teachers' is said to have been originally written by Sister Corita Kent, and popularized by Cage. The work engages viewers to understand the importance of constantly creating, learning and sharing.
