JR X Time Mural on Bowery Tagged in Response to Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting
View this post on Instagram Last night while rushing to different gallery parties and open studios we came upon the @jr X @time Bowery mural. We were stopped in our tracks. To say this might be the most important current art installations may be an understatement. We seem to forget that all of humanity is generally fighting towards the same goals (happiness, acceptance, love, success, etc). Even though we may have different approaches we seek the same things out of our life’s. Twenty-four hours after completion, someone tagged the black-and-white imagery with the number “11” – in blood-red paint – which represents the murdered Jewish congregants at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. #strongerthanhate #treeoflife A post shared...
